Funko POP Marvel: Guardians of The Galaxy - Rocket Raccoon Vinyl Figure

I love funko toys, but I dont like bobble heads as much. I bought this because I love the guardians of the galaxy comic and I love rocket and groot. I will still buy them all but I am disappointed they made a bobble head instead of a statue. I really love all funko statues and will continue to buy the rest of the guardians bobble heads, but I am disappointed they went that way instead of statue. Still worth a 4 star because it is rocket raccoon and is awesome, but would have been a five if it was a statue.

If this were just a regular funko pop figure, I'd give it five stars, easily. It's adorable and in terms of the character itself, it's well-designed. However, the fact it (like the other Guardians of the Galaxy funko pop figures,) is a bobble-head is a problem. Like the Daenerys Targaryen funko, Rocket suffers from the "big head, tiny body" problem. He's not well balanced because of that, but when you mix it with a bobble-head... he falls over. A lot. I have to keep something standing behind him to keep him upright; else, he falls every single time.If you're the sort who keeps all your funko pop figures in their boxes, this will be a non-issue for you. But, if you're like me and you take them out and sit them around your desk or on a shelf, you will likely have to find some way to stabilize him.

Fun to watch

I loved Guardians of the Galaxy, and Groot and Rocket were my favorite, so I got this to keep on my desk at work. It's super cute!! Rocket is actually shorter than your average Funko POP figurine, so when I put him next to Groot, he looks short in keeping with the actual character. The bobble is a spring, so the head will shake when you touch it, but not continue moving around for an extended period. With this one, it doesn't "bobble" for long because of the smaller size of the figure.Love it!!

This one IS A BOBBLE HEAD. Have not opened - this was a gift. Looks sturdy, no noticeable problems with the paint job, and was well packaged so no damage to box on arrival. I highly recommend Funko Pops for anyone who likes collecting or can't figure out what to get a friend for Christmas. There is a wide variety, so they have something for everyone, are reasonably priced, and are pretty darn adorable too.

It was great to have Rocket (and Groot, who came in the same day!) join the collection of Funko Pops in my office. Now I just need Drax to finish off my collection of the Guardians (sans villains, etc).Rocket is, of course, a bit shorter than the typical Pop figure. Good balance, great bobbling action, fun details.

There were earlier reviews stating that the head was too big and Rocket would topple over. However, I have not experienced that issue and he sits pretty simply and easily as is. They may have changed the product slightly from some of the earlier reviews, but it's a great mini bobble head figurine and my co-workers who could care less about action figures all stop to comment on him and/or make his head bobble.

This figure is the start of my Funko Pop collection. The sculpt is amazing and all the little details are done fantastically. The paint on mine is very well done. The only place with glitches is the front of his suit, that's it, and only in one small spot. Over all I personally think this is a fantastic piece and Funko did an excellent job. I am a HUGE Rocket Raccoon fan, and I love having this figure on display in my home.

Given as a present

The first of the guardians of the galaxy to add to the collection and overall it is OK. The detail is what you expect from the Pop! range not great, the attention to detail with the paint job is lacking in areas especially the chest area, but hey he was £7.99 so I'm not going to bang on about that to much .The bobble head spring is sturdy like another reviewer highlighted but the main problem is for some reason my raccoon has had a drink to many, he can't stand up, even when propped against the window he gradually seems to slid down.You can find the occasional Pop! in most collections that you have difficulty standing up (like the Anna I brought for my daughter had to move the body at a 45% angle to the head to stand up). But I suppose In true Rocket Raccoon fashion, while all the others our standing up on display at the front he'll be at the back standing slouched looking like he is nursing the night before.

A cute little bobble head to be placed around your shrine to the Marvel Universe... or a companion on a long trip! Nothing is cuter than a anthropomorphic talking raccoon in a jumpsuit holding a laser rifle... Except Groot.In all seriousness, the spring for the bobblehead is sturdy so should last a while, the quality of the finishing although detailed is sloppy at times but for a small figure that stands only 4" high I would have expected that. It always seems to be looking down and sad, nothing a bit of spring stretching can sort out.The girlfriend loves it... but it's lonely... I've ordered Groot for Christmas!

Ho acquistato questo Funko per un regalo di Natale ed è arrivato con delle tempistiche molto veloci, con settimane di anticipo rispetto a quanto mi veniva indicato quindi è stata una esperienza molto positiva.Il prodotto è orignale ed è arrivato nella sua scatola in perfette condizioni e ben imballato.E' una versione Funko BOBBLE HEAD, ossia di quelli che non hanno la testa fissa ma oscilla leggermente se muovete.Avevo letto pareri discordanti in merito alla questione della molla di questo prodotto ma a parer mio non essendo propriamente un giocattolo da utilizzo per bambini ma più per collezionismo va più che bene e non è così debole o fragile.Certo, se si va pesante di pressioni e shakerate rischiate di danneggiarlo ma mi sembra abbastanza ovvio.Non aspettatevi una versione di grandi dimensioni perchè si aggira intorno ai 10 cm
