In winter our streets and trails get icy and these are the best to keep on my boots and give me the nonslip walk while walking my dog. The spikes are huge and sharp. I would buy a larger size next time. Compared to the outdoor store price they are pretty reasonable.

These are very easy to put on/remove and provide excellent traction on ice. We live on a steep street that is usually covered with ice during the winter. These give me complete confidence that I'm not going to slip or fall. Although they're not rated for technical use, I once used them on an ice slope during a Search and Rescue mission. The only down-side is that you need to remember to remove them before you step on to your deck or inside your house because they'll scratch your wood/floor.

These are great for winter hiking on icy trails and hills or just preventing a fall on your driveway. The only problem is eventually the metal loop will cut through the rubber harness even though it is thicker at that point. Perhaps a plastic eyelet or using recycled tire rubber would prevent that. I used plastic zip ties to keep previous cleats on. The velco strips are also an improvement over other brands. For the price I expect 2-3 years use but won't pay $50-$70 for similarly made cleats due to the eventual breakage.

These do exactly as you want them to, give plenty of traction on ice.

These are awesome with all the ice and snow we get in Minnesota!! My driveway is very icy all winter and these have great grip I have not fallen since I got these.

I think this is a great product. I walked my 2 golden retrievers on all kinds of ice, some covered by snow, and had no worries wearing these grippers. They are heavy duty and easy to put on my boots. I felt very confident and not frightened of falling.

The spikes on these cleats live up to their name of "sharkmouth." They bite into snow and ice wonderfully. The fit is snug to the boot and remains that way no matter how much tramping outside your day brings to you. Wish I had bought these many winters ago.

Nice product. These really dig in and help walking on icy roads. I fell in the driveway the first snowfall this year, and these do the trick. The snow builds up a little in the cleats, but is easily cleared if you stomp down on the ground. The manufacturer even follows up a week or so later. How is that for service?
