I read all of the reviews before purchasing this item and most, if not all, stated that the PUDDLE LIGHTS did NOT work after installation. I figured that if they were still selling them that they must have fixed the issue or could quickly address the issue from previous complaints. Little to my surprise I am experiencing the same issue. Since it was on a Sunday when I installed them. I sent an email to the support team. Early Monday morning, the next day, I received a response to my email requesting the order number from my purchase. I replied with it shortly after getting the email. After most of the day went by I replied again. It has now been 14 hours latter and have yet to hear back from them.Basically the web AD said that if the options were previously on the mirrors being replaced that they will work with the Newly purchased tow mirrors. My old Mirrors had all of the options, and more, that the newly purchased tow mirrors have. Auto folding was not an option of the new tow mirrors; it only came with manual folding for this model; for an additional amount approximately $110.00 more I could have gotten a different model, same mirror but had the auto folding option. I figured for as few times that I might utilize that option, I could manually fold them myself and save the $110.00.Installation was easy.They fit perfectly.Wiring harness wire was a little shorter than the original ones; but long enough to work. The connectors on the end of the wiring harness were the same as the old ones and connected without any issues.My ONLY suggestion is that you should watch a couple different You-Tube videos on how to install the mirrors. They are quite helpful in showing you the best way to remove the door panels without messing things up. Also for my installation it showed that one of the mounting screws needed to be shortened; so NOT to make scratches and/or other issues in the frame when shutting the door after installation.

For the price and the quality I would buy these again however the stud closest to the front end of the truck is too long and after I installed the first mirror and tried to close the door the door didn't close I realized once I open it back up that the stud was hitting the A-pillar and had scratched the paint. If you buy these you'll need a cut off wheel or another way to cut down the length of the stud. I've only had the mirrors on a couple of days so hopefully they'll last and not break when you try to fold them like my factory ones did

Easy installation looks great

I just installed these mirrors. It was a pretty easy install. Just youtube.com "ram 1500 towing mirrors install", A1 Auto pops up with a great video. You will need to remove your door panel. I'd recommend popping out the plastic piece that sits behind the door handle after you remove the screw. Makes pulling off and putting on the door panel 10x easier and it just pops off with your plastic trim removal tool.I found 3 issues with these mirrors, below. Otherwise, they look nice and appear to be well made.1) To confirm the question from many, you WILL lose power folding capability with these mirrors.2) The mounting bolt closest to the door hinge had to be filed down. It was making contact with the body of my truck when closing the door. I had to file off approximately 1-2 mm to get it so it shut without making contact. Not a huge deal, but it did scratch the paint in this area.3) The plugs are SUPER tight and you have to use quite a bit of force to get them in. Once in, they work fine. I just hope I don't have to remove them anytime soon.

Quality, attractive, functionality and easy to install. Don't get better than that!

Liked everything EXCEPT bottom bolt closes to windshield was 1/4 inch too long and scratched the paint.Had to use bolt stud off old mirrors.

The product was easy to install. I did watch a u-tube video. Had to cut one of the mounting bolts, hacksaw will work. To get turn signals to work had to take to ram dealership to flash computer. Was warned of this ahead of time. Mirrors are great love them.

This was purchased as a gift. Installation was pretty easy just time consuming as the interior door panel had to be removed. Only problem was the top bolt had to be cut down so it wouldn’t slam into the door jam (kinda seems like a design flaw on manufacturer end) but nevertheless was simple. Makes towing much easier. All features the OEM mirrors had these did too
