The best for matting prints!
I've tried all kinds of tape for matting prints and this is my favorite! I will use this the rest of my life. The ability to either tear or cut the tape is so nice. Once you separate the tape from the backing, it makes matting prints a breeze. After centering the print on the bottom matte board and holding it in place, I put two large pieces of tape horizontally on the top back of the print with the majority of the tape and adhesive facing the top matte board. I then add a strip of double-sided adhesive below the print on the bottom matte board and carefully close, pressing the taped areas to adhere. Takes a minute or two. Into the bag it goes. The roll is large and seems to last forever. The BEST!

Sheer, tough tape
The tape is very thin and has excellent stick.Initially, thread the tape thru the bottom of the box and separate the tape from the backing with two pieces of other tape. Then thread only the backing thru the provided slot outside the box. I used masking tape to secure it all to the tabletop.

Fast delivery made this worth buying from Amazon.
I could have gotten this for less from our wholesale framing supplier but needed it quickly. Great brand. So was happy to find it available to the general public as I think of it as a specialty item.

Figured out how to get tape off backing
I almost gave up on even trying this since I couldn't pull the backing off at all. Thank you to the previous reviewer for suggesting Scoth tape. That didn't work for me (my transparent tape wasn't sticky enough), but a small piece of masking tape stuck to an unwrinkled corner of the linen side easily peeled the backing from the tape and I reused my piece of masking tape for each peel. Still waiting to see how well the tape holds, but so far so good.

Nice tape, tough to get the liner off
I really like this tape. It burnishes well for adhesion to backer boards for my prints. But it is very difficult to get the liner off the tape, and I have good length natural nails.

Difficult to use
This is the first time ever using hinging tape so maybe I don't know how to work with it properly. It sticks very well to surfaces and holds digitals prints onto the mat boards. But it is not easy to use. It took me several minutes to remove the release tape. Very annoying.

good- does what it says
I had never used this kind of tape before for framing. I like it though. It is self-adhesive, yet lets me move it maybe once or twice without damaging the photo it is stuck to. I don't think that it would remove so easily from paper or artwork. The box has a built-in dispenser, making it easy to separate the tape from the backing as you go. I'm REALLY glad for that design, since otherwise the box is really awkward to handle.win!

Easy way to peel tape from backing
Love this tape. There is an easy way to peel the tape from its backing. Use a piece of scotch tape, stick to corner of fabric side, gently peel off backing. Works every time!
