Good for high arches and achilles tendonitis and offer Wide Widths.
If you notice almost none of these shoes are left in wide widths. Yet seeing only one rating and no reviews, I decided I best speak up about these sneakers. This last year has found me miserable with feet issues, and I enjoy walking and hiking. My feet were even in pain with my trustee Keen Targhees, used in the past for a month-long walking trip. Most Vionics seem to run narrow, and even the wide widths were too narrow in the toe area. Finally I purchased these last fall in black suede. So comfortable I even wore them with a dressy tartan at a fund raiser! Yes, pain and older age prevailed over fashion and vanity. The budget for many of us is tight these days, but seeing how few of these remained in my size (7 1/2 wide) I just now pushed the "buy" button. I may not find a perfect fitting shoe again. These even have traction on ice(lot of that lately) and have proven themselves stable on gravel. If you have any of my feet issues, I highly recommend that you push the "buy" button, adjust the budget with what few pleasures we can still maybe afford.

Best Walker Ever!
I’ve purchased this walking shoe multiple times and it’s a great everyday all purpose shoe. Very comfortable, terrific support and holds up well.

Very Surprised
I was skeptical about these shoes, but I bought a pair of Orthaheel Traverse Slide Sandals two weeks ago to wear around the house and they seemed to relieve some of the extreme pain I've been experiencing from plantar fasciitis (both feet!). After reading the reviews about these walkers I decided to give them a try. I wore them all day and it's been the first in the past two months that my feet weren't sore in months. To be clear, these shoes didn't relieve all of the pain, but the relief I recieved after wearing them for only one day shows great promise. I highly recommend these shoes for their intended purposed, but I wouldn't recommend them for serious running. As other have noted, these shoes do run small. I typically wear a size 11 in every pair of shoes I've ever tried on. I took the advice from some of the other reviewers and order a half size larger and they fit perfect. There are two other products that I can highly recommend that have been helpful as well. First, the North American Healthcare Foot Rocker (1 for home and one for the office) and second, buy the Powerstep ProTech Full Length insoles to replace the insoles in the shoes you wear most often. Just pull out the original insoles and slide the Powersteps in. The difference in comfort can be felt immediately. Powersteps are nothing like the squishy Dr. Scholes inserts, the arch on the powersteps are very comfortable, but they remain firm which helps maintain proper arch support and expedites the healing of plantar fasciitis. Unfortunately, I bought 4 pairs from my foot doctor during an office visit before finding out that I could have bought them for $10 less per pair on Amazon...live and learn.I only gave these walker 4 stars because I've only worn the one day and I don't know how well they will hold up over time. The quality and construction seems okay, but time will tell. For those suffering from plantar fasciitis, hang it there, it totally suck, but it does get better if you stretch and wear the right shoes and/or insoles. Cheers!

Just ok - fell short of expectation
I am very picky about what my tennis shoes look like and I really liked the appearance of these, and having high arches, I have a difficult time finding shoes that look nice and provide proper support, but ...I have a bit of a narrow foot, and even lacing these tight, it still made me look like I was wearing a wide shoe, and felt like I cutting off the circulation to my feet. The toe box seemed a tad short for the size, as well. Also, the arch support is great, if the arch support was actually placed correctly, as it didn't hit my actual arch. Even cheap shoes will have the arch placement correct, but unfortunately these just felt "off".This brand also claims to designed with their "Exclusive Alignment Technology", to "Balance The Whole You". Well, either I'm already "aligned", or again, a lot of hype.Overall, they do look great, but I just can't justify spending that much money on a pr of shoes that don't live up to the brand's claims.

This shoe is not comfortable to walk in.
You cant rely on other peoples reviews..I read reviews on this shoe..people were saying this shoe is comfortable and it runs on large size to size down a half size from my shoe size which is an 8...So I ordered a 7.5M. I have narrow feet ..These mediums were pretty snug....A mistake of listening to what other people were saying about these shoes. . After I got them and tried them... Its more like you have to size up a full size or a full size and a half upwards.. Not worth 120.00 including taxes at all.. For just a little more money..you can buy a shoe brand that is made excellent.. that's built 100x better of excellent quality.. like Hokas....These shoes are truly worth only 30.00 -40.00 tops..They felt literally like very cheap hard unconfortable Walmart brand shoes...the cheapest quality out there. Im a serious walker with flat feet.. so i need arch support with excellent padding which this shoe fails to provide that.. I also cant have the shoes tight in toes either..the box toewasnt roomy....Very hard and stiff in these shoes. Worst shoe brand to ever walk in daily. Another thing . You cannot buy shoes online... Shoes have to be tried on in person before purchasing... not online.. These are going to be returned back to Amazon for a refund.. I'm gonna go a store that sells Hoka's ..I've had enough with the many cheap quality shoe brands that is being pushed on people..

Great Buy
Very comfortable and they look great! Don’t listen to the reviews that say you should buy a half a size bigger because they definitely run true to size. If anything, mine might be a half a size too big. I wear a size 8 1/2 and that is what I ordered. I’m going to keep them, but I bet I could probably fit in an eight.

Great shoes!
Everything was as pictured and described!

Overpriced
While the shoes are decent, they are overpriced and also difficult to find in stores. My UK size is 6 but I have received 5.5 which is slightly loose for me.

Buy The Next Half Size Up To Your Norm.
Having read the reviews, I bought the 10.5 size extra wide fit instead of my normal size 10. Thank goodness I did, a size 10 would have had to go back. I broke my left heel some years ago, it has left me with considerable pain after any lengthy walk. Firstly, these shoes were not an immediate comfy fit for me. Even with the wide fit they rubbed at the sides, and I needed to wear protective plasters for a week or two. But I could feel the benefit of the cushioned sole and the support they gave, so I persevered. They are now extremely comfortable, with zero rubbing issues. I don't know why their sizing is out, but with such consistent feedback of them being "undersized" perhaps the manufacturer should consider a review of that issue. I would buy this brand again, but wear them in rather more cautiously (with a stock of sticking plasters!) Also, how come there are walking style boots for women but not for men? I would get a pair for winter if they were available.

Excellent quality and a perfect fit.
They fitted perfectly are really comfortable and look great. The quality is great and they are really light and don’t weigh my knees down with the weight as some shoes can do. They make my knees and feet less painful and are comfortable to walk in.
