I bought this after having a great experience with the triple cushion shave cream, and now I'm completely brand loyal to Jack Black.The cleanser does a great job of plowing through dirt and oil, and after you're done, your face feels like a completely blank slate. That being said, it does leave my face a little too dry. To remedy this, I just use face lotion afterwards.After two weeks of using this twice daily (with lotion), I can say that my skin has never been better. My face has been clean and zit-free, and I've had no problems with dry skin.As for the scent, it has an herb-y scent that I assume is from the sage it uses. After you rinse off the lather, there's no residual scent.As for the use and feel, you just wet your face, pump once for a quarter sized doodle, and that will give you enough lather to wash your whole face. The soap pumps out soft and lathers easily.

Product seems to work well after using every day for about a month. I have oily skin and this does a good job at treating that. However, I’m not sure it’s worth the price - you can get similar results with a product like CeraVe and pay much less.The smell is modest and doesn’t tingle or anything like that. It’s suds up nicely and has a fresh somewhat minty smell.

Very good face wash that doesn’t dry your skin.

I bought this along with 5 other facial cleansers, looking for a replacement for my wife's Arbonne cleanser, which is ridiculously over priced, but works well. I tested each of the cleansers on my unshaven face, 24+ hours after shaving. So, stubble and oily skin, for those days I elect not to shave. I tested them each individually, then on another occasion cleaned half my face with one cleanser, and the other half with a different cleanser for comparison. Jack Black did a great job of leaving my face feeling clean. It didn't leave any residue behind, but also did not leave my face feeling dried out. It left my skin feeling as clean as if I had shaved, but without the irritation that can come from daily shaving. (I often shave just to feel clean.) Jack Black was the clear winner of the lineup, with a mild fragrance, nothing "spicy" like menthol or mint, and excellent cleaning and rinsing. I'm very happy with it, and it seems reasonably priced.

This is the only mens product line I use. It's great!

I have had difficulty finding a face wash that doesn’t dry out my skin or make my skin red after washing my face until I started using this. Highly recommend to at least try it.
