Fresh batteries, straight from the box the mouse gave jerky, jittery tracking. Tried it first on my usual mouse mat, then on a smooth table top. It was better on the table surface, but still not adequate. Unit returned for refund.*update*It's embarassing to say so, but after organising a return and writing the first review I tried some MORE fresh batteries - the mouse works fine and I'm keeping it. It's 4 stars because the mouse is a little flimsy feeling and slightly imprecise, but otherwise is completely fine and good value for money. If you get one and it doesn't behave, try some fresh batteries, even if you think the ones you have are OK.

Device arrived, I tried using it straight away but when turning it on, the red led would flash on and then back off instantly. I tired different batteries and different laptops/pcs but it would not stay on. Obviously faulty. Very disappointing. This is reflected in the cost, very cheap hardware.Returned.
