Kilner Square Swing Top Glass Jar | 2L

I LOVE the look of this jar and the functionality. It keeps things fresh and I’ve enjoyed it while it lasted. I dropped it onto a linoleum floor and it shattered, and I mean shattered. I was shocked at how badly. Obviously I expected it to break but not to the degree it did. You would think I smashed it with a hammer. In the middle was a pile of glass dust that looked like glitter and it went everywhere.I loved the look of it while I had it and it works great as long as you aren’t clumsy like me. Had it been a few pieces I would just order a new one but this breaks bad when it does and will not last long for clumsy people like me. I was trying so hard to be eco conscious but I may have to go back to plastic. Ugh.

I needed a jar for pickling an abundance of cucumbers and this airtight jar was perfect. It withstands being shaken and turned upside down and has never leaked. I've seen cheaper jars that are the same size, but they weren't as sturdy as the Kilner jar.

Great high quality jar that seals perfectly every tIme. I use it to keep and feed my sourdough starter.

Love the perfect size and shape of this jar. I am using it to hold my bath salts.

Clean. Has cleaning and care info. Well packaged. Using in baking so needed a glass and rubber rimmed beautiful jar to sit out.

Good sized jar with removable gasket and solid locking lid hardware. We use it for making pickles. Minus one star Because it’s pricey for a jar made in China; obviously the extra cost is paying for the brand name which I don’t care about.

I use the jar for stinky kimchi and the seal is so tight that my refrigerator is free of the strong smell! It’s perfect!
