To turn it on plug it into a plug socket.

Would this light be ok to use in a very small space for a sensory den?

We use it in our kitchen at new year for our party to turn it into a disco (with a laser and strobe). This device puts out enough light to give a good uv effect in a darkened room - we use it with fluorescent tape to give colour effects. For a sensory den, I’m not sure whether uv is suitable - if so, this seems to be a good value product for filling a small room with uv light
