Mushroom House Mushroom Bag, Dried Porcini, 8 Ounce

Added a perfect mushroom flavor to my dishes.

I never thought I’d be writing such an enthusiastic review about dried mushrooms, but that’s where I find myself. These dried porcinis did not disappoint, the bag contained mostly large pieces (minimal “dust”), and they were fresh with an intoxicating, pungent aroma. The soaking liquid was rich and flavorful, and the 8 oz bag was huge, so overall a great bargain. I will be buying more of these in the future.

Use this in my bolognese recipe and it’s fantastic

First time having this issue with dried porcini mushrooms. First time ordering from this company. Which I utilize for recipes calling for pulverizing into powder. Can NEVER use these for that purpose, AND, even when reconstituted, and soaking liquid strained, completely unexpected, and unacceptable, grit in pasta recipe.

They came fresh and provide wonderful flavor for many dishes I cook And sauces I make.

it's always good to have access to mushrooms for various recipes---an excellent reason to have some dried ones on hand. These make a quick, easy addition to ordinary recipes to make them a bit special. Amazing how you can convert a jar of 'store-bought' pasta sauce into something really special with a few simple additions, such as mushrooms, anchovies and capers.

These mushrooms had a wonderful flavor. They did have some grit to them.

The product itself is very good. However, i received the pk with a small slit in it, which is on the shipping process. Would buy again
