Powered 3-to-2-Wire Trailer Tail Light Converter with 1.5ft Leads and 4.8ft 4-Way Wiring Harness Connector - LED Compatible

This converter worked perfect, replaced a Curts direct plug converter and cost 1/3 the price. Just used the connectors from the Curts converter and made it a direct plug converter.

I installed a defective brake light trailer tube light and fried my old adapter. Figuring out that this was the right adapter took some doing, but it installed easily, had great wire lead length and was pretty easy to install. I recommend solder and shrink tubing to avoid future problems.

I bought it to hook up to my utility trailer. Works perfectly.

I had bought some electronic components thinking I was going to figure out how to create my own brake light controller. Then I found this system. Little bit more cost up front, but my time is worth money too. The time it saved me trying to create the correct circuit and get it wired in was definitely worth the cost. Highly recommended!

After installation i realized the brown wire ( tall light) has constant voltage and rest of wires no voltage.Looks like short inside.To late for return plus it required to remove bumper to run wires.I have to order different brand.Update. Ordered curt. Works

I have always used Curt wiring harnesses in the past. This one is just as good as the Curt at half the price.It was easy to install. I have LED taillights that do not work with just splicing in the trailer light. So the powered harness is required if you have LED taillights.My vehicle does not have a separate brake light, so I just grounded the red wire. It works great. Exactly what I needed.

Well got it installed on a 2020 Chevy Trax LS. Everything but the left turn signal works. Checked and re-checked all connection and power outputs but no power going to the left turn signal. Going to be returning it and look elsewhere.UPDATE:Well I upped my review, I was at fault for this not working. I assumed the wiring for the turn signals on my car was the same for both sides, well they were not the - and + were reversed on the left turn signal. Hope this helps others and sorry for the initial bad review.

It didn't work with my LEDs.UPDATE - the Seller contacted me and said based on other customer reviews the wiring harness is compatible with LEDS and that a burned out bulb would cause the signal to blink fast - even thought I returned it and received a refund, they said I could buy it again and try it. I bought a CURT and have no issues. I guess it wasn't a burned out bulb, more likely it isn't compatible with LEDs or it was a defective product! Either way, I wouldn't buy it again.
