Advertised as all cotton, the inner shell is cotton, but it has a poly gauze exterior that I expect to snag on everything the first time my daughter wears it. She was planning on swordfighting in it, I doubt it will ever survive first contact.

happy I got these!
I'm happy I got these. They're comfortable and what I was looking for. Just so you know the color is white-white, and it has a grayish white tone, vs a brighter off-white white. So it might not watch indian kurtas you have that are off-white. The embroidery is slivery/brassy so it's not gold nor totally silver which might be great for getting it to match different metallic outfits.
