Much better than the hook ones that come stock. Little pricey, but you only have to buy them once. You can move them from bike to bike if you get a new one. They'll never wear out or break. But if you do wear them out, or break them, you're an animal. Congrats on that. lol

These are nice quality and work perfectly on my ‘12 Limited. 10 minute install - getting the old ones out from the bracket is the hardest part.I looked to piece something similar together from the hardware store before ordering these. It would’ve cost more - and been zinc, not stainless steel.These are well worth the twenty dollars.

Should have been a 5star!The only problem was that the clip that mounts to the bike needed to be spread a bit. I used a large flat screwdriver. Worked perfectly!

I purchased these when mounting HD saddlebags on my Yamaha Road Star. Even though the saddlebag mounts came with brackets similar to these, I was told these are better. And they work perfectly. I would definitely buy them again.

Easy install. 6 months later all are still good and tight, no movement or loosening at all. Good price for peace of mind.

For the price these are great value. They are easy to fit and the bolts feel heavy and secure. Only reason it’s not a 5 star is the fitting to the bike frame is a little loose so can be a bit fiddly to secure - but once the panniers are on they are reassuringly secure.
