So I actually got this to sharpen my machete, it is low quality(the machete) but great for yard work. I used a file to get the big nicks out of the blade, then used the stone to bring it back to semi sharp. I definitelywill be upgrading to a different machete but the stone made quick work of the task at hand. Again for cutting vines, small trees/bushes less than 2 inches in diameter. Of course if you hit the ground as you are swing the machete you get those nicks back in the blade so back to the file and stone. Worked great on my axe as well. Great product for the price, did exactly what it said.

I keep one in my kitchen one in my farm truck and one in my shop.Easy to use sharpens well.

As a wonderful product there’s not a whole lot I can really say about it and it does exactly as advertised it’s got the two sides to it the green and the fine it’s lightweight believe or not the little box I keep put it back into it it’s kind of nice having that so thank you for does not sell you just the stone plastic or something have a little box for some reason just it’s a nice little touch I would definitely recommend buying it I use it for my hatchet my acts have you been sharp and a couple other tools that I have for yardwork it’s just really good if I ever need another one I’ll buy another one but I’m feeling better from here probably last me the rest of my life I think so good job

This is a great sharpening stone and it will do the job. It fits perfect in my hand

This small palm-sized stone worked well (quite quickly) on my dulling axe blade. I probably used it on each size of the blade for ~2 min per side and immediately noticed the shine return at the blade’s edge. A little more attention and I could feel the blade was sharp enough and ready for more chopping. The stone still appears ready for a thousand more applications so definitely a good value.

This is exactly what I needed to restore an edge to my axes. Works like a charm!

The shape might take a little getting use to but is nice and heavy and think it will last for a long while, I got oil to use also which I recommend
