50/50 product
To start with let's get the good points out the way; Good solid build, the colour combination of purple and red actually looks good, comfortable to hold and not too heavy (for kids). The magazine can store 6 projectiles which fire at a fairly decent length and it packs quite a punch, I got caught up in the crossfire and felt a pinch on my arm. Overall good value for money. Now for the bad points; Projectiles sometimes don't fire as they get caught in between the barrel and magazine, the loading mechanism requires a lot of force and I've seen my 6-year-old struggle to pull it all the way back when loading (though mind you, he may be lacking some essential vitamins). Finally, if you're a bit particular, this item came in a standard cardboard packaging with no colourful branding. So whats the overall score? well its midrange product, nothing too special. I've got 3 boys and have purchased Nerf guns before, some big and some small and in comparison this is'nt too bad, kids will get some fun out of it, especially in the garden or park with the current decent weather. Of course, when they've had their fun and get bored they'll start target practice on parents (I write this review during the summer holidays just coming out of the pandemic!)Would I recommend this gun? well, it's a so, so product, if your kids are driving you bananas, like mine, its a decent purchase for £13 odd pounds, but if you're looking for something a bit more exciting, then perhaps other guns from Nerf range may be better for you.

Good
Brilliant nerf gun my sons first one had it for his 4th birthday he wanted a big one that fired lots of bullets this has six in just enough for a start easy for him to reload and pull back the mechanism to fire

Perfect gift for christmas
Bought this for wife’s sister as a Christmas gift. She looked confused. But now realised she can get revenge on her kids. She now understands the frustrations of nerf wars
