These are a must for moving big or heavy items. You will wish you bought these along time ago. My son and I moved an upright freezer totally full with no problem. They worked great on an electric sleeper sofa that weighed a ton.

Work exactly how they should. They won't lift the stuff for you, but does save you from having to bend down. Makes carrying appliances much easier.

I was hoping this was a perfect solution but it unfortunately failed for me. It’s great when you’re already standing however the problem is the lift.To lift you have to basically go into a full vended squat, you have to in that uncomfortable position try and position the strap underneath ( which is uncomfortable and isn’t fast enough) click the belt lock-in system in place. Then basically do a dead man’s lift to get it into standing position.I purchased this in hopes it could help my husband help with our move. He’s got a bum back but we don’t have people that can help. If it didn’t require so much of a deep bend and lift it would have been great.We did figure out a slight workaround. If I lift and place his side on a higher platform like a stool or other sturdy (but doesn’t slide) object I can have him help with some of the lighter furniture like large empty bookshelves. I found the arm style straps to be far more useful.

The straps were easy to assemble and use. Moved a 6 ft couch that was still in its packing. The straps made it easy for me and my daughter to move. We also used them to easily move a queen mattress. They were comfortable to wear even though I'm 330 pounds with a fat belly and I was still able to move things comfortably. Note it would be harder to use on a couch longer than 6ft in my opinion.

I have witnessed many delivery folks use similar products with ease, so I assume this would be an awesome option. However, getting this product to work correctly is extremely challenging. If you adjust your strap lengths and try to lift enough to get them to lock-in, it just doesn’t work. The straps just slip. It requires that both parties adjust and then pickup at the same time. Then there is just a little slip and the straps lock and you can carry the item. If you get to this point , the product works get. But the amount of time it takes to be that coordinated is just not for the one in a while mover. We ended up just using the hand truck. If the lock-in mechanism worked better and without requiring the full load, this product would probably be awesome. I suspect that whatever brand the professionals use do not have this problem.

So glad I purchased these! Must have for moving large/heavy items, furniture or appliances.Movers did not show up and used these to move. So worth the $$
