Particularly a Shoei Qwest if anyone happened to have one.** A: I have a Sedici Strada full face helmet which is of slightly lesser quality than your Shoei. I had to stop mid ride to remove the apparatus from my helmet because it let in so much air through the gap it created in my windscreen. I ride an HD Street 750 (an entry level cruiser with 750 cc's of displacement), and I found it unusable. If by street bike you mean a sport bike, I'd strongly advise against this mount. Sport bikes accelerate much faster than cruisers - not to mention higher top speeds... Combine these two factors and you're gonna have some majorly dry and windswept eyes. Assuming you don't wreck before that... I'd only recommend this for dirt bike/trial bike/scooter (yep, scooter) use. Go any faster than 30 miles per hour and it's actually a safety hazard. Hope this helps... **Q: it looks like the straps would hinder the visor of a motorcycle helmet from closing all the way... does it prevent the visor from completely closing?** A: I use an AFX-41 Dualsport type helmet and it's no problem closing the shield **Q: Would this work with a lightdow camera?** A: It sure will. Any camera that has the same attachment points as a GoPro will work. **Q: Will this fit a HJC helment and does a hero 5 still work on this** A: Hey Ivan, should fit your HJC helmet, but you are welcome to email me a pic via our website to confirm exact model. Hero 5 works with our mount as we use the same j-hook attachment points. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Company contact fixed my problem, works great now *by on Reviewed in the United States May 25, 2016* I used this mount for several rides (all the way to Death Valley!) and found a couple of problems that have me changing to a side helmet mount for my GoPro Hero 3. First, I did not get a good angle after the first use and found the GoPro was pointed too far down to get a good picture from the camera. The solution is to put the mount on so that the GoPro' fits from the bottom (worrisome in terms of losing the camera) with the camera upside down so you can angle it up with the GoPro mount. The insurmountable problem is that, for me, and I suspect most others, my visor would not close tightly. This increased wind noise to unacceptable levels and let in so much air so that my eyes watered badly when riding in the cold. I don't see a way around this, as the straps on this mount fit right where your visor must close. I suppose some helmets could fit differently, but you want an air tight fit with your visor, so I don't see it. I see some reviews talk about the shield not being able to shut all the way, but if done properly this is not an issue, as the straps lay flat and so the shield only has a very small gap. I found it best to have it where the two straps come up from the bottom and only one up top.
