This thing works great... My daughter has been using with her target arrows. No issues, well built and can leave it outside no issues. I have not tried it with the cross bow yet. FYI.

I recently got my hands on the KAINOKAI Straw Archery Target, the 32‑inch, 3‑layer version. It really looks amazing and has that unmistakably handmade vibe. Each layer is essentially a mat of coiled straw, and the front layer even has the straw wrapped in a polyester sleeve before it’s coiled into shape. All three layers are tied together with polyester twine, which adds to its unique, traditional look. Performance-wise, fresh out of the box it totally impressed me—it stopped over 150 arrows from my 33‑pound bow. However, as I kept shooting, I noticed that the areas with the heaviest arrow concentration started to soften. The center coils felt like they would come undone if I didn't brace it. This raises some questions about how durable it really is over time. For $99, it’s a bit of a gamble. While it definitely shows potential and has plenty of life in it, I’m leaning towards the idea that using traditional straw bales might be a more cost-effective solution in the long run. Plus, the polyester sheathing left some staining on my arrow shafts, which was a minor annoyance. Overall, I’m giving it 4 stars for now if the durability doesn't hold up I'll revise my review. It makes a great first impression and works well initially, but its durability and value are concerns if you’re planning on heavy, long-term use.

My second target for archery use. This feels incredibly sturdy! It is plenty thick for a 30 lb recurve bow. Love the coloration, so hoping this will last a good while!

Buy a loyal foam target, this one fell to pieces within a month of using it, should not be allowed to sale to the public
