The more I use it the more I like it. I take it everywhere. On flat services I can let it stand on its own. I can walk freely and confidently knowing that at any angle the cane will be secure. At first I was disappointed that the cane handle did not have a foam covering, but after using the cane, I don't need the foam. The handle is designed so that I can grip it easily and hold it without my arthritic fingers hurting too much. The cane is expensive compared to the $20 variety common everywhere. But it is worth the price, and should be bought and tried out. I like the copper-colored ferrule under the handle, contrasts nicely against the black color of the cane, gives the cane a bit of "elegance". This sculptured handle looks a lot better than the offset handles. This cane for sized for shorter people. Perfect for me at 5'2".
