The kit came with everything I needed to fit an SSD to an old iMac. The screws provided were a great fit on the SSD, so no problem there.Where the fun started was when I tried to screw in the bracket and mounting screws from the old HD. Sadly the quality of the tapped mounting holes on the side was poor, so it took a while to get the screws to fit properly. This really let the bracket down

I bought this to add a solid-state drive (SSD) as the boot disk for my Windows PC. I needed the frame because my PC is an ATX "tower", without any 2.5-inch storage slots. The package contained everything I needed, making the installation a breeze. And it meant I could buy a "bare bones" SSD for best value for money there. No USB to SATA adapter needed. After cloning the drive, all I had to do was change the boot order in the BIOS. "Simples!"

I don't know if these even work because the cables aren't long enough to fit, on top of this, the mounting kit doesn't even fit. Incredibly annoying.

I used this mounting kit to replace a traditional 3½" drive with a 2½" SSD in a Windows pc.The mounting kit fitted perfectly into a drive bay, and only needed 4 of the 8 supplied screws to fit into place, because the new drive came with fitting screws. It's very secure, with no rattles or noise.No sharp edges, it felt sturdy not flimsy. Came with one SATA data cable and one SATA power cable.As I was replacing a SATA drive, I used the original data & power cables to mount the new drive into this kit; this let me use the new cables supplied to plug the old SATA drive in as a slave drive.Good price, quick delivery; it's a thumbs up from me.

Came quickly and good quality

Bought two of these at a very reasonable price, but one arrived with a bad crease down the middle of the cradle - nothing that couldn't be fixed, but it shouldn't have happened - either bad handling or poor quality control in manufacturing.Having said that, a quick squeeze on the caddy in the appropriate places and it was straight enough to work.The cradle was supplied with caddy screws for the SSD drive but not for the mounting in the the PC frame.None of the screws that I have (and I have a lot!) would fit the thread on the cradle holes for the frame fixing.Fortunately the PC had soft-fit plastic retaining clips to hold the caddy into the frame (thouhg I prefer the resilience of fitting a caddy with all four screws.
