Grate Rack for Big Green Egg (R) Size XL Nest

I purchased four of these to place around my BGE XL. This worked great for storing all BGE accessories. Has definitely helped making grilling easier and more convenient.

I purchased two of these for my XL Big Green Egg, one for each side of the smoker. So far, these are working great and can hold a lot of weight.I have one side holding the Plate Setter, and the other side holding the XL Pizza Stone. I was surprised that these are able to hold that much weight and not create any bending in the unit.Installation was 10 seconds, all you do is hook it into the holes then pull downwards.5 Stars for ease of installation, and quality of the build.

Perfect gift you didn't know you needed and much less expensive than replacing the plate setter he keeps leaving on the ground near where the kids play football. One of those "wish I had thought of it" things !!! Egg cover fits over when setter is in the grate rack as well. Took about two seconds to pop on the nest. Will buy a second for the rack soonUpdate June 2019: still working fine. No damage or warping. Still recommend

This works very well for placing the setting plate or the grill rack itself. However it keeps the item a little higher than I would like so it's somewhat cumbersome when using it. You can't use it in the front because the it holds the plate high enough that it covers the airflow

I purchased a pair of these racks in March of 2017 and have not quite had a years worth of use - My Green Egg is covered both by a canvas cover as well as a deck above. These are certainly helpful for holding the plate setter and grill grates while prepping but these do rust!! I gave this 3 stars just on that point alone.

Easy to install. Holds the main grate of my BGE XL vertically next to the legs of the nest stand. This results in very compact storage; no wasted space. I may get another one for the other side as I accumulate other grates and stones.

This was a great investment. It makes so convenient to store my grilling tools so close to the grill. It is especially helpful when removing a hot grate or plate setter to add coal into the grill. I 2 so far. I find the need I buy a 3rd. Fast delivery, super easy install, and great product
