DO NOT BUY
Absolutely terrible picture quality in my 2018 Model X. I used various High Speed HDMI cables that work great with my 4K OLED. I also have issues having to plug and unplug it repeatedly, and cycle backup cam on and off to get it to work many times. I thought maybe the connection type, so I purchase after market and apple apple adapter for iphone. I tried Chromecast, and even and apple tv in the car. I contacted the seller after confirming it wasn’t my hardware for more troubleshooting tips, and they just gave me some generic response about Tesla Screen Version. DO NOT BUY PRODUCT!

disappointed
I purchased my unit directly from beat-sonic, and was pretty excited to get it installed. That is pretty much where the enjoyment stopped. Spent about 30 minutes tearing apart the car then the next 4 and half hours emailing support trying to resolve a defective unit. While the HDMI input did work, the back up camera feed was corrupted and unusable. I eventually gave up with the single step support trouble shooting and asked for a refund.*note to any buyers* the HDMI video feed does not have any kind of hardware introduced delay to help sync up the laggy bluetooth audio so even when it does work if you are like me and cannot stand a .2 second delay between visuals and audio then skip this mod at all costs. There is no way to solve it without software that has it a sync delay baked in or a custom hardware device with a sizeable video buffer cache.Yes .2 seconds sounds like nothing but it messes with you soo badly when you watch people speak. It breaks any immerision I would have had.
