I needed a surveillance camera to monitor the driveway but had no AC power available. There were others to choose from, but they appeared bigger and cumbersome compared to this well-integrated solution.The package arrived quickly and to my surprise, everything was included in the package, even the mounting hardware. The user manual is complete and easy to understand.There are QCodes to quickly set up the smartphone app, which was simple to get functional. The picture was clear and of aquality comparable to other cameras I've seen at the stores.The motion sensor is perfect and the white light can be programmed to turn on whenever there is motion, so it doubles as a security light, a nice touch when I get home late at night and am fumbling for keys.There is plenty of sunshine here in Florida, so the solar charging works well although I can't comment on other areas where there may be fewer hours of direct sunlight. I do have it mounted on the north side of the house and still battery charge is not an issue.I don't believe you'll be disappointed with this camera if you are looking for a device that doesn't need to connect to AC power.

Worst camera experience I’ve had . Extremely vague instructions , camera wouldn’t connect at first took frustratingly long to figure out finally itDoes connect . Used for a week and it stopped working would not connect . Now can not get the thing to connect , reset button does not work. Camera works fine but can not view anything besides SD card because it won’t reset to connect to WiFi . Extremely displeased With product have several Other brand cameras that have always worked fine . Don’t waste your money

Overall this is a great camera for the price. It was easy to connect to WiFi and has great picture quality. The only bad thing was that the mounting arm was cheaply made. The adjustment screw for the horizontal position was held together by a cheap plastic piece which broke right away when tightened. Luckily I had a bolt and washer handy that was long enough to tighten the camera to the arm so it won't move.

I dont like the charging . When the battery go dead and it Recharged to 100% if it stay on in the night. The next day it is at 40% Then it loses power in the night .

Super easy installation and easy set up. The solar charging feature works great. Very cool product design. My compliment to the designer. Overall good product, but the time lag between motion detection and video recording (about 2 sec), the position of the memory card slot, as well as the user interface of the software (ToSee) could be improved.

I was so sad. Everything about this camera was great - except what I needed it for - recording motion events. The picture quality was clear and crisp, the field of view was nice and wide and would pick up the whole back of my house. The instructions leave out the most important first step. It does not tell you to charge fully with the USB cord provided and does not give you any instructions. I thought it was DOA but after charging for a few hours, it had enough juice to set it up. It took three tries to get it connected. At first it would record several minutes of footage randomly so then I changed the time to record to 30 seconds and then it recorded 30 seconds of video every minute or so. It was difficult to tell if it was capturing motion or not since it was recording constantly for no reason, even pointed at literally the back of my china cabinet from an inch away. Live video had a long lag time (10 or more seconds). The housing was sturdy and I liked having a way to move the solar panel, but it's useless for what I needed it for so it was returned.

UPDATE. I originally fell in love w these cameras and gave them 5 stars, HOWEVER, I’ve since had a lot of issues w them. Mainly when I needed to reset them, neither cameras reset button worked. I contacted customer support who did say they would refund but I have already nailed them Into my siding. Needless to say what I originally thought of these cameras has changed dramatically. I am pleased with the clarity of the ones that work but am just not impressed with how they held up.I LOVE these cameras. I have 2 and want so many more!!! The motion detection is sensitive even when set to low but I dont mind. Definitely recommend. Customer service was great too.

This is a really great camera. I just received the camera, and put them up over the weekend. This has a great color picture. The price is EXCELLENT! If anything changes I will update this review if anything changes. As of today, this camera is much better then I thought. I use the Mycam app and it works great. I see others using and complaining about other apps, I can't comment on the other apps, but the Mycam app works perfect, for pictures or video. 1080p quality is very sharp, I am installing an outdoor pair of solar lights to add to the camera, then if will be perfect. The price is definitely right.
