I had always wanted to buy one of these heavy-duty massagers. This massager is exactly like the ones used in the Chiropractic offices. Hands down (get the pun?) it is far better, cheaper, and more effective than any masseuse I have ever been to.The massager was quite pricey, but I read the reviews and purchased the Jeanie rub on Amazon a couple of years ago for me and my husband. It is variable speed, which, at its highest setting, delivers a deep tissue massage effectively treating any aching muscles. The machine requires two hands. I use it on my spouse's back, and it requires a great deal of manual strength to use. It is somewhat akin to handling a jack hammer. It is mighty powerful, but man, it WORKS!I will only suggest that you purchase this sheepskin cover to go with the machine. I initially wanted to save money by not buying it, but it found I needed it and bought it a few weeks later. The cover serves to help you guide the massager over the skin smoothly, since the massager itself has a rubber pad, which doesn't move well on a bare back or certain types of clothing.If the initial investment scares you, think of it this way: If you use the machine four times, it will have paid for itself in saved visits to the chiropractor and/or massage therapist's office. It is well worth the investment, and this cover is a nominal expense in comparison.

I purchased this with the intention of prolonging the life of the leather pad. I'm sure this has usefulness to others, but I don't use it. It reduces the vibration so much that I could only consider it if I were rubing it on my head for a headache. I am considering purchasing the other thin cover that costs less and may not reduce the vibrations as much. I didn't rate this lower since it probably has usefulness to others in applications other than how I'm using it. I need it for my lower back and leg due to sciatica.

If you have a Jeanie Rub Massager, you know it's the best on the market. This massager is used by professional physical therapists for good reason. I recommend it for anyone who is in training or has a chronic muscle problem.The pad on the Jeanie Rub itself is plastic, which means it is not entirely comfortable on exposed skin, and even through fabric it is somewhat firm. This helps for certain types of massages, but many people would prefer a softer massage. The Sheepskin Pad Cover is the perfect accessory for this.The Sheepskin Pad Cover gives a very relaxing massage, and the feel of the sheepskin is excellent. If you have a Jenie Rub, pick this up; you won't be sorry.

The sheepskin pad cover allows you to use Jeanie Rub directly on skin, as opposed to through clothes (or sheets). It is extremely comfortable and in my opinion is a necessary accessory for Jeanie Rub.Be aware that it does not last forever; over time it picks up enough skin cells to require replacement (I wouldn't use it before a shower - sweat and body oils would result in a shorter effective life. This is my third cover over a number of years.

My wife is the one who might as well be writing this review. Used the Jeanie Rub with and without, and the reaction from her, well, like the title says, get it.Also, don't go for the cheaper one--this one is real sheepskin. It feels incredible. It's easy to maintain/clean. You won't regret it. If you have a Jeanie Rub or are investing in one, just count this as part of the cost, because this adds a LOT to the experience.

I know a chiropractor that ONLY uses this thing, and never any "hands on". So instead of paying him $36.00 per treatment, I got one of these for myself, and LOVE IT! It is a fantastic massage tool. It is easy to use on myself and others. I highly recommend getting the natural sheepskin cover. It buffers the power and makes the vibration "receivable", that is, more comfortable. Wish I had owned one earlier in my life. :-)

we gave this massager wool cover 5 stars because of the price and workmanship of this product it will last a lifetime. i would recomend this to anyone who ownes a genie rub massager makes it soooo much better.fits great never slips off and and say enough it fells so gooood like a soft sheep love it glad we made this purchase if it ever wears out which i dout it will would buy again
