This mount come goto ready? Why description says could be upgrade to goto anytime? How much it's cost and what need to do?

Thank you for your inquiry. This mount is already set up for GoTo. You do not need to purchase anything else with the possible exception of the optical tube and a power source.

Can this mount be moved free hand in any direction? For instance if I want to use my maksutov for bird watching on this mount.

Thank you for your inquiry. The mount can be used manually - you should not turn on the tracking system and release the axis lock levers. You can then position the mount manually to the desired location and then tighten the lock levers. Because it is an EQ mount, moving it around can be a little tricky.
