Great for large groups
Purchased this for a boy scout camping trip. Large enough to cook for a group of 20 with plenty of space for more food. Definitely need a quality tripod to hang kettle over fire for the weight. Cleaning is easy once you learn how to handle the weight of the pot. We did 3 different seasonings to the kettle before we felt it was ready to use the first time.

I was so disappointed when my cast iron pot arrived today.
The media could not be loaded. The outside and lid of the pot were sprayed with some kind of black paint that gave the appearance that the pot was preseason. It will have to be burned off before it can be used. The inside is totally unfinished. To be fair, I went back and reread the listing, and it did say not preseason. I had looked at several pots, and all of them were preseason, so I assumed since this one was black it was too. Also, the lid does not fit well. I kept worrying about why the lid would not fit. After going back and looking again, the top rim of the pot is not even round! I would NOT purchase this item if I had it to do over.
