Sign and letter carving takes time and so does this video. Watch it once through while sitting on your couch; grab some popcorn if you'd like. Then, if you can, watch the video in your shop, pausing to practice the carving as Chris teaches and demonstrates.I recommend you also get the Lettercarving in Wood: A Practical Course by Chris Pye. The video and book together are the best teaching you can get without leaving your workshop.
