Before I purchased this item, I did a lot of browsing and research of at-home microdermabrasion devices. I wanted to find a product that was easy to use and would help my skin look better. I found the cost of devices to go from around $50 to well over $200. My thoughts were to keep the cost down - because I would be able to better evaluate whether or not using the machine was improving my skin. I figured that if I spent a lot, I might subconsciously see results that weren't there, just to justify the purchase. The NEWDERMO fit the bill perfectly. It isn't expensive, it came packaged well and it is easy to use. It has a variety of suction heads (5) and one can be used daily to lift your skin - I really liked that option. It's easy to charge and it stays charged for a long time (I've used it everyday for 3 weeks and have yet to charge it a second time). And, the best part is I'm very happy with the results. While, to be honest, I don't think it makes me look younger... it does make my skin look better! The fine lines around my eyes are much softer now and I love that. My deeper wrinkles around my mouth have improved a little but not as much. Overall, my face does look brighter. My skin looks healthier. This purchase was definitely worth it. My only complaint is that currently there is no way to reorder filters from this company. I did contact them and they stated that they are working to have reorders available in the future. (I did order another brand's replacement filters on eBay and hoping they work.) Because of the filter reordering issue I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. Terrible, it turns on but the suction isn’t good. There is no way it is exfoliating and removing black heads. It did none of that. I have charged it many times and nothing the suction is terrible. Waste of money!!!! Do not buy

It worked great for 13 months. Then it stopped working and I can't get a refund.

This thing really SUCKS, in a fantastic way. I have used it twice and my skin looks and feels just like I came back from the salon. I recommend using a toner just after while your pores are open. This also gets rid of any dead skin left on your skin. Follow with a serum - I like vitamin C by Avon. I only wish I ordered the bundle with extra diamond heads. The machine will save me a ton of money, I was paying close to $200 per session at the spa. Great buy for sure.

When I first bought this tool, it was wonderful! I had acne scars from adult acne caused by medication. The honest truth is I have almost no scarring left. The tool has also made my skin clearer, cleaner and look younger. I plan to continue to work on my body to clear many skin blemishes and to clean my pores.HOWEVER...wonderful and effective the MDA tool is at first...it (no, they...I bought one for my teenage daughter). So, yes, I have two of them. Both tools have completely lost the suction after just a few weeks of use. Last night the 2nd one stopped even coming on. I read the manual from cover to cover, I changed the filters every time before I used either of them, I changed the gasket, I bought more filters and gaskets and used it according to the manual.I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! Here I have found a tool that I really like, is light enough for my disabled hands to hold for extended periods of time and reasonablely priced AND has given me excellent results. AND, now I can’t use it.What should I do NEWDERMA? I can’t afford to buy a new one every month. Virginia
