In Her Pumpkin Patch: A Holiday Romantic Comedy (The Svensson Brothers Book 3) Kindle Edition

I tend to read one genre of books at a time and right now I am stuck on romantic comedies and have been for awhile. I am not sure where I came across Alina Jacob's Svensson Brothers books, but I just finished the 3rd one and have read the prequel and her short stories which she gives for free with her newsletter. Her stories and plots could only be called outrageous and her characters (you will fall in love with them) are completely over the top. They are also extremely sexy. Reading these books should be behind closed doors as you will not be able to stop the snorts, tears and possibly loss of bladder control would be very embarrassing in public. I dare you to be down in the dumps while reading any of these. MS. Jacobs I really hope you continue this series as there are more than enough brothers to do so. If you love Max Monroe, Piper Rayne. Pippa Grant and Lili Valente you will adore these

I think I gain 5 pounds every time I read an Alina Jacobs book! There is always so much delicious food being made throughout the story. The characters are great. The heroine (Penny) is struggling to make ends meet but refuses to see the billionaire (Garrett) as a way to solve her problems. She remains strong and independent. This book can be read as a standalone but it makes better sense if you are already familiar with the back story and characters. Alina's books are always a fun read.Be sure and sign up for the newsletter to read the short story

Another funny story.... I love this family. Can't get enough of them. Yes this story deserves 5 stars!!! On to the next story...

,** possible spoilers** In this adult romantic comedy, there are funny scenes "oh, no"::7; and groanable scenes, several graphic sexy scenes, and even suspenceful scenes. I liked the small-town setting full of quirkey characters (one of which is a house) that act more like extended family than towns-people. Although it is set around Halloween and there are mentions of other PN movies, "The Adams Family" is a tip-toed around tease throughout the story. They are never directly mentioned eventhough Penny lives in an old Victorian that is described to resemble the famous creepy mansion. The pastey twin sisters could be from either the "Shining" or Tuesday and Wednesdy Adams, who drive a herse. The house is perpetually overshadowed by storm-promising clouds. They even enjoy diging up dead things. I was almost sure that Penny and Garrett would dress up as Morticia and Gomez, but it never happened.This story starts out sweet. There is match-making and other schemes going on by various characters which may or may not pan out in the next book. The last 3'rd has a gracious plenty of graphic love scenes in various and sometimes riskey places because the two main characters, once they agree to a relationship, are like a couple bunnies.The romantic tension runs high the first two-thirds of the book. Then the couple spice the scenes up with a little danger of being fined for lewd and lacivious public behavior.Baced on the cluses, this story this is part of a series linked together by the brothers finding love. If the rest are as fun to read as this one, I would like to read them all as my budget sllows.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
