Super smooth earthy and dark. Really clear tea usually does around 10-15 steeps in the traditional style. It also came a day earlier than it was supposed to 5 stars all the way I LOVE it

I recommend this tea based on the following:1. Arrived quickly and packaged well.2. Nicely pressed tea cake.3. Tea has a pleasant yet bold earthy taste; the taste is somewhat woody.4. The smell of the tea cake is similar to the taste. It's fresh and not musty at all.5. The tea has a nice color.6. I have got about six maybe more steeps per serving.The first steep is one minute; adding a minute for each steep.7. Overall, great tea for what you pay for.However, I was little disappointed that:1. The description of the tea indicates aged Puerh Tea but the box was stamped 20202. The description of the tea states organic.No where on the box does the word organic appear in English or Chinese.

I bought a Pu her cake from a different seller and it was great, you can tell it was aged and fermented for a while but still very fragrant and flavorful. The tea would almost instantly turn into a red-brown color and it worked for what they say it’s supposed to do, then I finished that cake and tried buying a second one but it was sold out ughhhhh! Then I found this one and that description was pretty similar to the other one so I decided to give it a try, but at the 1st cup of tea I noticed it was completely different than the other one, first of all the leafs or whatever it’s called were like sticks but extremely hardened and in a dry sense and once is in the hot water for 3 minutes passed, the leafs turned green, just like any other tea. There was no scent or change of color in the water, absolutely nothing happened. Then I gave it another tries and the same thing, so I decided to give up. Unfortunately it’s going to the trash as it can’t be returned because dumb me, did not check return policy. DO NOT BUY, it’s not pure, or fermented or aged!

I really like this tea. It’s smooth and the caffeine effect is very mild. High quality very good.

I get a mold or mildew smell for 2nd brewing. Otherwise not much taste at all. It does serve as a pick-me-up, but I think I will not keep this tea.
