Purchased recently for a family member who has gone retro and started buying old LP albums. Records sound surprisingly good. Sound quality is a bit "tinny" compared to larger and more expensive speakers but it's clean and really not bad, for this price especially. One somewhat odd thing not shown clearly in product photos is that when the lid is closed over the record, the edges of the LP will stick out on the two sides (through openings or cutouts in the lid) beyond the width of the lid. However this makes the entire package more compact and everything works fine. The arm drops gently onto the record when the lever is pulled, and seems to be well-balanced (there is no built-in control for this). You can optionally flip a switch to have the turntable stop when the arm reaches the end of the record. Otherwise the record will keep spinning. The arm does not return automatically at that point (like it would on higher-end turntables), but at least the record does not keep spinning endlessly at the end, if you flip that switch on the right. We tested the CD player and it worked well, as did Bluetooth which connected to our Android phone with no issues and sounds good on the speakers. We did not test the cassette player. We will update this review if something stops working correctly.

This is a small compact yet great stereo system.. I can make digital recordings from records and tapes and, of course, play music from my iPhone, iPad, and computer. It's plenty loud for my office and beyond. Some people left reviews that complained that this unit wasn't loud. Not sure what's wrong with their system but I rarely turn the volume up half way and it's loud enough to be heard throughout my home (1,900 sq ft). Connecting my iPhone or iPad to Bluetooth is quick and easy. Trying to find a system like this, including all of the features, is a little tough, but this one's got it all.

It's not your average high end high cost kick a_ _ stereo system but is a great system for the price. Worked great right out of the box. Couldn't believe the powerful clear sound coming through the small speakers!

I was looking for something that would play both CD's and FM stereo radio stations in my area that are a little hard to tune in for excellent reception. I checked out various devices on Amazon. After reading through the reviews, I realized that I might need something a little higher in quality than the boom box to get reception for my hard to tune in FM stations. I began to look beyond the boom box and noticed the BOYTONE Turntable with CD Player, AM/FM Radio, Cassette Player & MP3 Encoding Device. There were only seven reviews at the time, but they were all five stars and highlighted with praise, the issues I was most interested in. I ordered the product. When I hooked it up, the AM?FM Radio didn't work at all. I was very disappointed. I contacted BOYTONE directly and they made it clear that they would make it right and replace it. Amazon makes it so easy to return items so that as soon as I contacted them for the return, they had a replacement product on its way to my home and a return shipment label to print from my computer, at no cost to me, to ship back to their Returns Department. The replacement product arrived within two days. I quickly set it up and everything worked beautifully. In spite of my rocky start, I highly recommend this product and give it a five star rating.

Assembly was easy and it looks great. The multiple media options are a big bonus. That said, the turntable speeds are slower than they should be and the tone arm tends to skip on songs with heavy bass beats. Soundwise it's ok, the speakers are small and have very little bass. I thought i had read this model had bass boost but it does not. For what it is and the price it would be a great little stereo for a teen or non audiophile but we will most likely return it because the turntable not running at correct speeds.

The sound quality is great and looks great easy to set up and the record player was great until it quit working the third time and will not work again. It will turn on then it turns itself off and nothing works. Don’t buy it. It’s garbage.

Great investment while in a temporary home. My mimi stereo system I've has since the nineties gave out on me. Rest it's perfect electronic soul... So, I bought a Sony system a couple of years ago and it is so complicated to use, it just sits on the shelf. When I saw this unit, I decided to try it out. This little gem was worth the purchase. It arrived in time and I literally took it out of the box, plugged in the speakers and the power cord and it was operational. It connected with my bluetooth with ease. The sound quality is excellent. Over all, it is a great little unit which will more than suffice until I make the full investment for a full system.

This is an unbelievable value compared to my old component stereo system that died a piece at a time. The old receiver, tape deck, CD player and turntable each cost more 20 years ago than this entire system cost today. The sound is great. I wired it to my speaker control unit that controls 3 pairs of larger speakers around my house. All the speakers sound great with this player. With the compact size it frees up significantspace in my stereo cabinet too. I don't know how long it will last but in the short run, it is terrific.

This music system is perfect for me. For an inexpensive setup it does everything I want. I can listen to my LPs again as well as CDs. I still have a few cassettes around and can listen to them too.

Eu comprei pra minha vó e me deparei com essa tomada que um lado é "maior" e não sei como desligar ele, simplesmente não tem um botão pra desligar e o fio do alto falante deve ter 1 metro.

woooow J'adore tellement, je l'ai commandé pour écouter des disques et c'est parfait le son est bien correct au dela de ce que je croyais on entend clairement et ca joue bien. J'ai réécouté des cassettes de moi jeunes qui parlait hihi des cassettes de vla 40 ans et ca jouait clairement. Le CD joue aussi bien et la radio aussi. Je recommande vraiment je trouve que c'est de la super qualité. Pour les disques aussi il y a des embouts pour 3 grosseurs de disques c'est super cool.

There seem to be a problem with the turn-table, as if the speed is not good. I wrote to the cie, hoping it will not be a problem to return it… everything else is working just fine and the sound quality is superb.
