Perfect toaster
The toaster looks great, has good functions, takes wide bread and has a rise control to remove the bread, etc. Whilst it is quite expensive, I still consider it to be good value for money - you get what you pay for!

Wide slots perfect for home made bread
This is a smart-looking 2-slice toaster, with ends in a frosted matt pearlescent finish. I’m not sure I agree with the manufacturer description of this as having ‘stainless steel accents’ when the whole of the sides and top section, the feet, and small elements on the controls are all in a shiny stainless steel effect. Far more of the toaster’s finish is shiny than is pearlescent – so to my mind, it’s really the pearl finish that is the accent colour. The shiny parts, including up by the slots, show up smudgy fingerprints quite a lot. Fortunately, the pearl finish by the controls is less prone to smearing. The toaster I got browns bread well and evenly (with the exception of bought, pre-sliced toastie loaves which seem to be a smidge too tall for the end at the top of the toaster to toast properly – but fit this toaster better than they do my old 4-slice number from another brand, a toaster that claimed to have been designed specifically for this kind of loaf, yet leaves a good 2cm at the top of the bread completely white). The wide slots are generous, giving plenty of space for indulgent doorstep slices of homemade/other fresh bread and the high lift lever makes it easier to extract smaller baked goods. The controls are simple, clearly labelled, and easy to use without feeling flimsy. A good toaster.

Bread half burnt, half white
Paid £60 for this toaster in the hope i was buying a really good quality product- sadly disappointed!! It toastes very unevenly and on the last use one side burned and the other was still virtually white! Just not workable and major disappointment considering the price.

Works well & looks nice
Had it about a month & use it every morning without any issues, looks nice, doesn't take up much space & makes my bread toasty.... What more can you ask for?

BROWNING
Absolutely excellent two-slice toaster with my new favourite modern convenience of all time - BROWNING. The variable browning feature on this beauty is absolutely essential and I resolutely refuse to ever go pack to those pre-luxury days where I couldn't control the exact level of crisp and colour to my brekker. Ought to get one of these for the ladies in the work canteen (though I expect they'd STILL find a way to blacken my cuts of bread to a crisp).

Great looking toaster
Good toaster. Looks very good and the simple retro dials and stainless steel finish make it very trendy. It fits with my stainless steel appliances well. It toasts evenly and fairly quickly. The crumb catching tray does not remove as easily as it perhaps should and feels quite flimsy, but otherwise, I'm impressed.

Good Looks
This was smart looking but only the top 4/5ths toast so you have to turn the bread around and re-toast for a bit so the whole piece of bread is toasted. Controls are stiff too but otherwise a nice enough toaster. Is it worth the money? Think I paid for the name if I'm honest. Not the quality I was expecting.

Seems like neat basic toaster...but uneven toast
Update :After abysmal performance (uneven toasting) toasting 2 slices straight from freezer, I've given up on it & sold off cheap on eBay.Got this after last one's thermostat gave up (Another well known brand.. Brev...)Came quick, discounted in Amazon warehouse dealsIt's early days, but on it's first test of one standard hovis on defrost. it was ok - somewhat uneven toasting with the centre square brown & the frame much lighterThis seems consistent with a number of the reviews. It will do the job, simple & neat - I have the impression that there is no such thing as a toaster that will toast evenly !

It's a toaster
Does what you expect a toaster to do, has a crumb tray to help you keep it clean. Only complaint is that the first few times I used it, it smelt like plastic. Also feels a bit cheap compared to my previous toaster, but it works well and toasts pretty evenly
