Lovely dress! I always want to have a black dress in my closet. Perfect for so many occasions. But, I read reviews about sizing before ordering. Purchased a size 8 and it was too tight. Then ordered a size 10 from a different website since Amazon didn’t have that size. Still too tight! Finally purchased a size 12 and it fits nicely. Length is nice. Just below knees. No slip would be needed with this dress. I’m 5’3” and weigh 131 lbs. I’m 74 yrs old so body mass does shift as you age.

I LOVE this little black dress !!! It fits me fabulously and I love the fabric as well. It's true to size and very comfortable. I would suggest a foundation garment to wear underneath. The reason is because it will make the dress more flattering to your body. The price was a selling point too. It doesn't seem to wrinkle either so that's a huge plus because I'll be traveling with it soon.

The fabric is on the thicker side but it's very nice and good quality. The zipper is nice too and glides very easily. It's very classy, simple, and versatile. It can be dressed up for fancier events or worn to work events/parties. The sleeves are also the perfect length because covers enough arm but isn't too long or short. I'm 5/6' and it hits below my knees so I like that length. It's also modest but very flattering. I recommend!

This is an incredible dress. Flattering, great material and love the sexy, gold zipper. It is also true to size and good for curves. Great buy!

Beautiful, quality material and stitching, princess seaming flatters and slims any figure. I am 5'3" and 138 pounds and 69 years old. This dress is ageless and timeless and my 28 year old granddaughter borrowed it for a wedding, and it looks equally beautiful on her. Purchased in a size 6 and the fit is perfect with one exception. The sleeves "assume" younger taught skinny arms. Us old gals can have that little extra arm flab at the top making form fitting short sleeves uncomfortably tight. Might return it for a size 8 but I'd miss the very perfect body fit I have with the 6. Maybe a seamstress could come up with a solution - Otherwise this dress is perfect!

i don't think it fit well. i returned it. the material is thick and it's a pretty good quality but the sizing was off for me. this dress wasn't very flattering.

Love this dress! I ordered this as a dress option for an unexpected funeral. It was perfect - modest enough but also not the typical black dress. I liked that the material was a little thicker so didn't show the lines or fabric from my undergarments. Overall classy dress and received a few compliments.
