The color changing for temperature works really well the spoon itself is fantastic for feeding a baby new to foods. The bowl of the spoon is shallow enough that it’s not overloaded with food and easy for the baby to get the right amount into their mouth.

The media could not be loaded. These are really nice spoons! I love the heat-sensitive tip! The color changes to white when the food is too hot. It’s super helpful. Now I don’t need to try my baby’s food every time I feed her just to make sure it’s not hot. My baby also enjoys using them as a teether, so they definitely get a lot of use.The only downside is the handle. It’s fine for self-feeding, but when I’m feeding my baby I have a hard time getting a comfortable grip. If I have a bit of food on my hands, the spoon gets slippery which makes it a little annoying. Still a really good buy overall. I just wish the handle was a bit easier to hold.

With these change colors on the temperature of the food, this assures me when feeding my grandchildren!

They certainly do the job. I only gave it 4 stars because there have been a few times where they turned white despite the food being the perfect temp, but in this case, better to be safe than sorry.

My baby is learning to eat on his own as he transitions from purees to soft solid foods. It is BPA free, and because it does not hold food smells (like silicone utensils do), my baby is not easily put off by any residual food smells as it cleans well during washing. The spoon itself is narrow to fit into my baby's small mouth. I love the safety feature that prevents me from giving hot food to my little one. It is lightweight and its handle is long enough and wide enough for my baby to be able to easily grasp it. Love its functional, safety and aesthetic design. A must have for babies who are starting to eat solid foods! -This is a physical therapist review of the product.

I thought the color changing feature would be a lot more useful for gaging when my baby's puree is cool enough to eat, but time and again I find myself with my finger in his food just to be sure - how am I supposed to know what temperature the vaguely turned white spoon is indicating? So, the temperature indicating feature for me has been moot, HOWEVER, the material of the spoon has been excellent in both easily scooping food into the little dude's mouth and becoming a teether when he's decided he's done eating. I highly recommend these for their quality and price, but not for their color changing feature.
