Criminal Justice: An Overview of the System
R**.
Very Good CJ Primer
Although the book is very informative as a primer on the Criminal Justice System, it is fraught with a tremendous number of typos and other written usage errors. Whomever edited the manuscript, did a very poor job of paying attention to details. So as a doctoral level Criminologist and Criminal Justonian, I rate the book highly on its overview content, but poorly on the books editing.

Good text
Bought this for a class, it was much more affordable here than at my college bookstore. I love the layout, the way the information is delivered, and the thickness of the pages. I’ve been able to highlight important passages without any issues of bleeding or leaking through pages.

A better understanding of how badly the Justice System needs change.
The Justice System is not only the Courts but also includes the Police Academies. Training in these academies has to change with the goal that men put on the street can better control their emotions. Hopefully this will better reduce police brutality. Inside the courtroom the biggest changes have to take the competitive nature between the prosecutor and the defense. Who cares how many wins or losses one or the other has. The reason why these cases are referred to the courts is to find justice for he person charged with a crime, whether in Criminal Court, Civil Court, or Juvenile Court. This is a process that will not be done overnight.
