1.5% Lanthanated TIG Welding Tungsten Electrodes 3/32” x 7” 10-Pack

After seeing how much a set of (10) Orion tungsten welding tips cost ($75!), I researched and found these. The 1.0mm and 1.5% lanthanated tungsten appear to be identical, and when you buy these you can make (20) new tips! So double the amount at huge savings. I have a Orion 150i pulse arc welder and the perfect length to cut these at is 2.75” using either a Dremel fiber disk or the diamond one. You can get (2) 2.75” out of each of the ten in this pack. Then sharpen both ends and you now have (40) tips ready to use (plus what you already have now). All for ten bucks or so! I tried them out and they perform identically to the stock ones that came with my welder new. Good luck and I hope this saves you a bundle like it did me!

I honestly don't care about the packaging as long as the tungstens work.

Not bad tungsten / flowed nice and clean

Patriot tungsten electrodes are the same or better quality as the more expensive ones I've used. I chose the 1.5 lanthanated over the thoriated mainly because they don't pose the risk of radioactive dust while sharpening, although they weld just as smooth. Will I buy these again, absolutely!
