Small and compact HD entertainment addition
Tojock - HD DVD PlayerIf you're looking for an inexpensive and reliable upgraded DVD player for your entertainment experience then get this DVD player which is lightweight and portable without overspending. Best yet it is small and compact, very impressed compared to previous name brand I purchased a few years ago.Compatability: It can play both CDs and DVDs in a wide variety of disc formats. Boasts of playing DVDs from any region (1-6 except for CPRM) and support Disc format: CD, DVD, DVD-R/+R, DVD-/+RW, CD-R/-RW, VCD, SVCD.Built-in USB 2.0 port for play digital media files directly. It is important to note that it does not support Blu-ray Disc!Connectivity: Easy connecting your player to the TV using an HDMI cable. It comes with 1 HDMI output to sync with TV or projector, 1 composite video/audio output (RCAx3) to sync with TV, 1Coaxial Audio output to connect to your home audio system, such as amplifier.Brand and Reputation: To top it all off Tojock brand is ensuring its product reliability and quality by a 12-Month Warranty, 24-hour Customer Service, 90-days full refund without any reason.Personally Before buying a DVD player, it's worth considering how you plan to use it and whether it offers the features and functionality you need. Overall give it a 4 star rating given the ease of use and taking image resolution into consideratio. whether newer or older DVD, it's picture quality can use some enhancement.

Good for the price.
It is a good buy for those who want a simple DVD player that works nicely. It is quiet and doesn't take a lot of space. What makes it neat is that it is region-free and has a USB slot.

A lot of confusion!
I can't say how this will work long-term since I've only been using it for a week (last DVD player - different brand - stopped accepting DVDs after 2 1/2 months) but this is what I've learned so far.It is region free. I do have to admit that. I determined that by accident. A DVD that I THOUGHT was Region 1 turned out to be Region 2. This device accepted it fine. That is a plus. The picture is fine. I have the HDMI port set to full-screen so I have no issues on that point. There is a several second delay between the time I power it on and the display shows anything so it's not the fastest device on the block. The product description states it has a resume capability. It does, but not the way it's described. It's described as watch - press stop -- press power ---- later, press power and it comes on and continues where it stopped. It doesn't work that way. To get the resume function to work, you need to either power down directly from while it's playing or press PAUSE (not Stop) and then press power. When it comes up, it will go from Read - to DVD and then quickly to Resume. If you press power after pressing Stop, it starts the disk from the start - no way around it.It comes with subtitles turned on by default (even if you turn them off in the settings). This is minor since it's just one press of the remote to turn them off. The only way to have it come on without subtitles is to do the above stunt using Pause/Power to get the resume to work. If resume works, the subtitles remember their setting. The remote is a little touchy - if you don't have it aimed exactly, its like the remote isn't there. That's not a serious problem since it's directly under the middle of the TV.The power cord is rather short so I had to place it UNDER the TV or it wouldn't reach where everything else is plugged in.The connection can be a bit iffy. The other day, I turned it on and got a no-signal message from the TV. I checked and everything was fine. I had to turn it off and then back on to get it to connect and display. Before, I had no picture or sound but the display indicated it was playing fine! The USB port DOES NOT WORK - PERIOD! The first flash drive was the wrong format so I can't complain about that. I put in a second flash drive that was the correct format and 32 GB. It just HUNG on loading. I couldn't even turn it off! Even the power button was frozen. I had to pull the flash drive out of the port to get control. I tried again with a 4 GB drive with little on it -- same result - hang tight! The documentation and the product page said the limit was 32 GB. The Tojock.com site said the limit was 16 GB. Why the difference? Either way, the last drive I tried was only 4 GB.The user manual and the quick-start guide said the opposite on MP4 files. One said they were allowed, the other said they weren't. Get your act together. This is a non-issue since I can't use the USB port either way!The product page says both 2 year warranty and 1 year warranty. The document and the site say 1 year warranty. Again - get your act together. It was low priced - it works but there is no reason for this much confusion. Even if it works, I spent too much time trying to figure things out!
