A Little SPOT of Confidence: A Story About Believing In Yourself

I think this is my favorite in the series so far! It's so hard to choose. I love the anxiety spot too and it's great to see they go hand in hand. Not only a great social story but what a great tool to use to help kids understand & process their emotions so they can take back the power into their own hands instead of letting their emotions get the best of them. The characters are simple & cute. I think kids love them and the catchy prose the lesson is written in helps kids remember what they need to do when different situations arise. These have definitely been a big help in my house & I would recommend them to mothers & school teachers alike.

"A Little Spot Of Confidence" does everything it promises and more.Beautifully written and easy for children to believe and follow. The "spot" imagery is also very colorful and entertaining, and helps to convey the message with ease. A lovely book.I might even put the ethos on my own wall :) Quote..."Today is new day! As a mom and teacher I really love the little spot books! My daughter is struggling with confidence and this book was great for her age and had a great message!

My five year old granddaughter loved this book about confidence. It’s an extremely well written book with good illustrations. I highly recommend this book for any age child. Just from listening to me read the book gave my granddaughter extra confidence. This book is outstanding in being really very very creative. Creativity helps children grasp concepts.

great for kids on the spectrum! Really helps with connection and understanding. Brought a great conversation with my 9 year old. He has high functioning asperrgers and I purchases several of the books in the series and my son is thriving with them. Love them. Would recommend 100%

This book was amazing at helping my shy 5 year old feel more confident at kindergarten and understanding his own feelings. We do affirmations almost every day before school and it has made the best difference! Instead of "anxiety" I read it to him as "nervous" since he understands what nervous is and I don't really want to label his fleeting nervous feeling as anxiety this young.

Love this series. Gave it to someone whose daughter is very shy. He liked the book.

My 7 year old daughter absolutely loves this series. This is one of her favourites. It breaks things down so well and has so many lovely ideas. Have now bought about 10 or 11 from this series.

It is a lovely mindfulness book for children which tries to make kids emphazied and identified emotions. Very worthy and recommendable.

Wow I was so happy to see another books in this author's series. This book compliments the others so well and reviews concepts from the previous books. They all tie in beautifully together. I love how the story shows examples of situations and ways that children can show confidence. It addresses concepts such as using endurance, ambition, creativity, courage and kindness....... This will be awesome to use in my lessons (as a teacher) as part of our social and emotional program.

Purchased this book for an 8 year old who is dealing with some confidence. And he loves this book. We were able to stop at certain pages have a discussion and examples. I am waiting for a little spot of anxiety to arrive. I do plan to get the whole set. Talks about affirmations which we have been practicing daily before the book and my son was happy to see that the book talks about it. Great book definitely recommend!
