I am using in the whole house but especially for the bunnies. I have five rescue rabbits! These air cleaners help immensely. No scent themselves yet clears smells naturally.Received two small plastic ones to place in shoes but haven't tried those that way. Both are being used in bunny area by potties in large cages. My BUNNYs all have potties so these help between weekly cleanings.I hang the large fabric ones off a cabinet door handle...suspended...so the whole freshener is exposed. I also have fans that circulate air. This combo makes a HUGE difference... NO pet smells!I also have a large one hanging off the top cabinet door above the cat litter box. Works great!I purchased carabiner clips at the Dollar Tree for 2/$1 in auto section. I attached one to each of these freshener bag's fabric loop bc these don't come with clips. The medium size carabiners work great and only cost $3 for 6.I love the messages on each one. Received different sizes for different applications. Large ones are a generous size and placed to cover whole rooms ~ LOVE in bunny room/kitchen, JOY in living/dining room, FAITH in my bedroom upstairs, HOPE in cat litter/laundry area. Small bag in bathroom and one in car. Two small plastic ones near bunny potties on top of cages (don't collect hair!)My only suggestion: wish they would offer in a natural color cotton fabric with words in green. The black shows my white bunnies hair that goes flying through the air. 🐰 As soon as this 2nd color is an option I will purchase again.Makes terrific gifts for a baby shower, graduate going to college, wedding gift, new home gift, gift for pet owners and teens in sports!Safe to use in baby room on crib. I can't use aerosols or scented things near the bunnies ~ TOXIC. Same for birds. Ok, let's talk smell. My house smells pretty good, but there is always that one or two rooms that have that, not so pleasant smell. My laundry room was one of those rooms, due to the litter box for the cat being in there. In would make a mixture of wonderful laundry scent and, well xat crap. Even when we clean it constantly, it's still there. I put two of the big bags in this room kinda spaced out evenly. Now, I was skeptical about this product but to my pleasant surprise, the smell is literally almost gone just after a few days. Soon reading about this product more, once they stop working, just set them in the sun and they release all the smells and work like new all over again. Seriously, most products make you buy more after they are used up, but I can just reset these! Heck, the dog ate a bunch of the cat poop this morning and then threw it all up in the laundry room, and it didnt even smell that bad in there. Could obviously still smell it but, I was impressed to say the least. We also have one in our fridge. And it works great! Now, prob the biggest win though, was my boots. These work boots are a a few years old, and you as you can imagine, smell terrible. Put a small one in each boot and my shoe closet no longer smells bad. I cant even believe it, those boots could peel paint off the wall. Now, you stick your face in the boot, you gonna smell it and regret your decision, but it's not leaving the boots anymore and cutting the smell way down. These are amazing and I absolutly recommend these to anyone who has a smell that is bothersome or doesnt want some guests to smell an embarrassing scent in the house. Buy these now, I love them, my wife loves them, I will buy more if they ever get destroyed from kids or animals.

I understand that my use is unusual and extreme, but I think you will find this useful…I am living in a 320sq' Lotus Belle tent on a rain-forested island in Panama. It is rainy season here. We got 15” of rain in the first 15 days of June.Since mid-April, I have had to close up the tent at night in case it rained. The result was condensation on the inside of the tent and eventually mildew. I explored using low-power dehumidifiers (60w), but my solar generator can’t support that overnight.So, I turned to using bamboo charcoal, first to absorb the moisture inside the tent when it is closed and secondarily to ameliorate the musty smell that was starting to occur.I bought 3 of the kits from Tennessee Home Goods, placed them around the tent. The very first night the relative humidity in the morning was 87% compared to the consistent 94% I was getting earlier. And, importantly, there was no condensation inside the tent.I have just put in an order for another three kits to see if I can achieve a further improvement.Since this product can work in my extreme situation, I have no doubt it can work for you in whatever your application.Three other “plusses” to mention… (1) The sacks are attractive and, dare I say, inspiring; (2) the humor in the instructions contain classic, down-home Tennessee humor; and (3) this is a US-made product. They admit that they have to source the charcoal in Asia, but it’s American through and through.

I used through house as we have two dogs and thought I’d try. I really didn’t notice any improvement.
