Great product, silent, lightweight and cordless, makes it so easy to cut my 1year olds hair.

My 3 year old son had an absolute anxiety attack every time we took him to the hairdresser, the tears and the stress was too much to take, then Covid came and we had to find a way of getting this ever growing hair cut - hence this purchase. I was sceptical to say the least, but I have to say I was totally surprised at how well this workedIt isn't silent, but it is very quiet, and not scary for a child, I started by putting on his favourite dvd, sat him in front of the TV and put the clippers on from a good distance away and just kept them running for a few minutes, he didnt even notice, then I showed him the clippers and let him see them on my own arm and I said how it tickled and would he like to feel what it was like and he said yes! (a great start) I put it on the back of his hand and he giggled, and I just explained that it wouldn't hurt him when I trimmed his hair, I didnt use the word 'cut' as I think that used to scare him too, he was great, no fear, no tantrum, he just kept giggling and saying it tickled, I got the whole hair cut in less than 15 minutes! I love these clippers for their quietness, their ease of use, all the different attachments, the plastic cover for his shoulders was great. He has had his hair cut three times since, it's an absolute doddle. This was by far my best Amazon buy so far this year - you wont regret it.

I bought these as my 7yr old son hates getting his hair cut due to the loud noise of the clippers. These I wouldn't say are 'ultra quiet' as the description says, but they are slightly quiter than standard.Instructions weren't very clear and labelling on the guards is underneath, which is difficult to see. No plug for charging, no oil for cleaning and I got a sponge, which had no use and a small pink comb, which my son won't use.If the child's hair is quite long the clippers have a habit of just stopping mid cut, so you can only really cut a small amount each time. This takes longer. Short hair in the long run will be easier to maintain. Clippers themselves are a nice size, and light to hold. My son sat well for his haircut, and over time I'm sure he will get used to them.

There loud just like normal clippers maybe slightly lower in noise , catchy in the hair but they do the job not the best not the worst.

Very easy to use and great value for money. It worked more than 30 minutes that was said by the manufacturer. I uaed it on my 20 months old son. The indicator light also changes to green when it is fully charged.Regardless of the green light that popped up after 1 hour of charging. I charged it for 5 hours for the first use.It is not totally quiet but definitely quiet than the adult hair clipper.I really love the clipper.
