This cookbook holder has not been off our countertop since the day we got it. It's always got a random cookbook in it because we use it so often!! It looks very nice, too! The hinge is well attached and it holds some pretty thick cookbooks we have!

I love using this for cooking. I put my iPad or cookbook on the stand and can easily read the recipe as I’m cooking or baking. It’s super light weight so I fold it up and store it with my cookbooks when I’m not using it. It looks really cute too! Very farm house.

The back pieces of wood that are supposed to be secured together to be a support to stand the book stand up were not secured when I took the product out of the box. These pieces must only be glued together as there is no nail holes. The hinges used to secure the back brace to the main piece are very weak and provide a loose fit. I am returning this, I could make something myself that would be more sturdy. I didn't get the chance to even test out if it would hold my cook book, but I would bet it wouldn't hold up very well under the weight of a large book, especially in a kitchen where this may be moved around periodically.

It was broken when I received it? The quality is poor. I bought this as a gift, but I wouldn't even keep it for myself, much less give it to someone else!!

The stand is very east to use, kioks nice, just wish it was a bit larger for my cook books
