I like this.
This is a good product. My calves/ankles are so tight. This stretches out my calves so well, so intensely. I stand on it a few times a day and do some other mobility exercises/stretches. Stiff ankles/tight calves can cause knee problems, which is what drew me to this little device. I do feel like it's helping. It's sturdy and a good price. I can only use it on the first and second settings. The other are way too intense for me at this point in time. I'll continue to use this daily. I recommend this slant board.

Great calf stretch
If you need to stretch your calf due to a medical problem this is for you. I had been stretching my calfs on a stair, but this gives a much greater stretch. There are several adjustments, I have it adjusted mid level. Light and easy to carry and can also use it when sitting at a desk.

Sturdy, useful product
First, I thought that a 45% grade wouldn't be enough for me because I'm reasonably flexible. Wrong. I actually find that even 40% is too steep for me, causing me to stick my butt out and bend forward, a position that's not comfortable to maintain for much time at all. When stretching on a stairway, I often get to 45 degrees, but it's different when on a supportive surface.I'm not giving it five stars because it doesn't fit one of my expectations and hopes. I'd hoped to just stand on it and watch TV or listen to music, thinking I could stretch for long periods of time. Turns out that you're not very stable (the board is stable, but you standing on a surface at that angle aren't.) You need something to hold onto or you'll quickly either start losing balance or get into that same bad position where your butt sticks out and your torso angles forward to balance your butt.I shouldn't have been surprised. You always have to hold on when you're stretching your calf with your body straight up and down.So far, though, I'm enjoying working with it. It does seem to work, though I actually end up using one leg at a time and supporting myself with the other leg or holding on to something with my hand. I only use it for stretching, but it's well built and well-designed. I'm not that big a guy, I only weigh 160 but at that weight it has absolutely no problem supporting me, it's very stable and does the job.

It’s great!
I have plantar fasciitis and this slant board is perfect for stretching my calves. You get a much deeper stretch with this rather than on a step. Seems sturdy and light enough to travel with. Easy enough to store away too. Highly recommended.

Perfect for runners
This is perfect for my purposes. I don’t have a big foot (size 7, women’s) and am not a heavy person so I can’t attest to how this would work for a larger athlete. But it’s plenty sturdy for my use and folds up flat so that I can store it in my car to take with me when I go on a run. In fact, I prefer this to the larger wooden ones in my gym. So far, the foam on the strip behind the heel area has held up fine though is not necessary if you stretch with your shoes on, as I do. The degrees of slant are calibrated perfectly for me—from a very deep stretch to just a slight one. This is a must for any runner—Achilles and calf stretches are key to preventing injury and device is far superior to using a random curb or step to stretch on.

new model
I purchased one of these a couple of years ago - my friend needed it so gave it to her, I purchased this one and although it looks the same, the riser bars are at different inclines. I could use 1st, 2nd and third on my previous slant board. With this new model, I can use level one, which is not as "steep" as the first unit , and level 2, which is steeper than level 2 on the first unit, Level three is almost impossible to stand on without your feet sliding off the back heel stops. Wish I had my "old" model back
