Oddly, I took a photo with my iPhone to post but the contrast was much higher in the photo than it was looking at the device itself. So the fairly high contrast images in the illustrations are probably artifacts of photographing these devices. I don’t think anyone meant to mislead, it’s just that when you use them the marks you make on the screen don’t stand out anything like the photos you see in the description. The erase button works as it should. I got these for the kids (2 & 5) so we’ll see what they think of them. The main reason I got these is that the picture shows a solid color wherever you draw. However, it is rainbow underneath.
