Petrodex Dual Ended 360 Toothbrush for Small Dogs

This is really too big for my chihuahua's mouth but I knew that from reading the reviews before ordering it. I liked how others said they would just let their small dogs chew on it and I thought that was a great idea in addition to other methods of cleaning teeth. It' seems well made and my dog really enjoys chewing on the bristles (she is teething though so that may be part of the reason). I let my dog chew on it every couple of days for about 10 minutes after I brush her teeth with another toothbrush and some toothpaste. We will see how long it holds up.

I purchased this product because my dog did not like getting her teeth brushed. With other toothbrushes, she would simply lick the toothpaste off and would not let me brush her actual teeth. Not thrilled with it. Bristles are hard and the rounded end is way to big for my 6 lb dog.

Rounded portion of the brush has a round cap on top. This cap came off in my puppies mouth during our first brushing session. Overall, this brush does a good job. Just be careful for the cap at the top as it might break off.

THE SMALL END OF THIS BRUSH IS OK.. BUT IT IS SMALL. THE LARGE END IS TOO HUGE TO GO IN ANY DOG'S MOUTH, UNLESS YOU HAVE AN IRISH WOLF HOUND OR SOMETHING. I'M NOT SURE WHAT IT IS ACTUALLY USEFUL FOR. TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET. YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE A CHILD'S ORAL B SOFT BRISTLE BRUSH AND GET MUCH BETTER COVERAGE. ON MY MINIATURE POODLES, THE FINGER BRUSHES WORK MUCH BETTER FOR MAKING SURE ALL OF THE PLAQUE IS OFF. I USE THE SMALLER BRUSHES FOR MY TOY POODLE.

Really like the quality of these toothbrushes. I still use the more traditional end but am trying the other end as well. They are well made and stylish with a nice rubbery handle. One of our dogs did not like other toothbrushes I've used even though I've been brushing her teeth for 4 years. She likes this one! She doesn't resist the brushing like she typically has. Yay!

This toothbrush makes it fun for the dog to brush his or her teeth because you are not working against their natural behaviors. Simply apply a flavor of toothpaste that they like (I use chicken flavor), and let the dog lick and chew on the toothbrush while you move it around their mouth. The only improvement I would suggest is to put round brushes on both ends of the toothbrush, maybe smaller on one end. Currently the end with the brush designed for humans is worthless, unless you want to brush your own teeth with it.

I had one of these already. I just wanted to get a new one because it was pretty worn from use. I think it’s easier to use the brush that goes all the way around.

Eu tinha a expectativa de usar em gatos mas não gostei e não recomendo.- Ela é muito grande. Apesar dela ser para cães pequenos ela é bem maior que a minha escova sendo que eu tenho uma boca muito maior que a de um cão pequeno. O tamanho me parece apropriado para um cão grande.- Não sinto que o 360 tenha alguma utilidade na prática.- A geometria impede a limpeza dos dentes do fundo. Além de ser muito grande ela tem uma ponta gigante na frente que dificulta a sua inserção e causa um desconforto grande e desnecessário ao animal.- Desperdiça pasta como ela é muito grande e em 360. O que é um problema já que 70g de uma pasta enzimática custa 100 reais. Ajuda espalhar na boca com os dedos antes de iniciar a escovação.

Veio com uma cerda dura como um espinho. Machucou minha cadelinha. Agora ela está com medo de escovar os dentes. Chegou hoje e já foi pro lixo!!!!

I've used this brush along with the Petrodex toothpaste on my dog since she was 6 months old -- when I began to notice plaque. Now she's 5 and I've brushed her teeth 4-6 times weekly in that time on either side, between the teeth and behind the front teeth with the 360 head. The results are in the photo!For reference my dog is in the 15-20 pound range. I would not use it on a smaller dog.

Great tooth brush for the dog, but the quality of control is TERRIBLE. Received the toothbrush with a sharp plastic hidden within the bristles, which cut my dog's gum/mouth. Had to request a replacement and thorough check to ensure the bristles were actually soft with no hidden plastic pieces hidden the second time.
