Q: do you need to pre wash this mat the first time? not really any directions on the package or mat?

Because our bath and shower mat need to experience a long journey (shipped on the sea and delivery by Amazon), to arrive in your hand. It is better to lay it in the place with flowing air and wash it when you get it.(machine washable save your time)

Q: Is the mat slippery on top when standing on it? Need for disabled...is it safe
