Inside the Music - New Wave

Sounds awesome in our Acura sound system.

Overall a very good selection of New Wave songs mixed into a multi channel format.

The previous reviews were spot on regarding the quality of the music. I did enjoy the version of Billy Idol's "Eyes Without A Face" since the vocals are localized to the center channel. It really adds a small venue feel. It gets old after hearing it once or twice, though. this is the first SACD I was actually disappointed by the quality. I'm sure it's due to the original recordings, but still not great. I would not recommend buying this product.

This dics is worth having even though it's surround mixing is hit and miss in my opinion. It has a few that sound good( She's a beauty, Mexican Radio,My Sharona,Lunatic Fringe)and even though not perfect, are alot of fun and make the disc worth having. They are by no means awful but they are by no means reference recordings either. It does sound like there is a little bit of updating in the recordings. The rest are decent, though I don't care for the Billy Idol recording,way too much center channel. And, who in their right mind would want Tenderness by General Public in surround sound? If the choice of music was better this would rate alot higher, maybe licensing issues?

The surround sound effect is not uniform but is still a good DVD-audio

Not everything is mixed well as DVD-Audio. When I spend this much money on a DVD-Audio disc, I expect more than a CD. Otherwise, I'd stay with my CD. The only reason I bought this was because these were some of favorite songs growing up. However, not all the songs were engineered well. On the whole, it does not add much compared to CD quality.

Very Beautiful 5.1ch surround sound ! I am satisfied very satisfied with the way the music is spread and how the sound spreads. I did not know that such products exist so far.
