It’s simple. Put the padded part over the door. Close the door so it’s secure. One foot in one loop and one hand in the other. You then just pull. So it strengthens the arm as well.

I have my gym in the garage at my house, no door, can i fix it some other way maybe to the wall?

I suppose you could put a secure rail up to put the part that suppose to go over the door. As long as you trust it, as needs to hold a bit of weight.
