I have shipped very fragile space/aerospace/aviation models in these and once you create a cradle with the pick and pluck foam that is precut so you can customize the case for absolutely anything fragile that needs absolute protection. These cases are not he cheapest but you get what you pay for and when a model costs 5k a few hundred for a case that basically guarantees the item will arrive safely no matter how you choose to ship across the world as long as you spend the time and make a perfect fitting space for the item it will get there in one piece.
