Korky Standard 2-Inch, 2X Long-Life Ultra Universal Toilet Flapper - 2017

Extremely easy to install. Didn’t even need to close the toilet valve. Slipped off one side of the old flap and moved it over slightly as I put on one side of the new flap. Did the same with the other side and it was on. I counted the number of loops in the chain of the existing old flapper so the length would match up. Removed the old chain and clipped on the new. Amazed. First time doing this. The best part was it works. Only suggestion is make sure you buy the correct size flapper comes in 2” and 3” and read the back of the package to turn the dial to the correct air hole for your toilet as instructed.

Super quick install (minutes). Fits Kohler k-4620 perfectly. Instructions for settings are perfect. The Band setting, white circle is open, the black circle is closed (I missed that on the chart). Made in USA. Loved other Korky products (fill valves), and decided to try the 2x lasting for just a few dollars more. Time will tell, 10 year warranty (!) Edit: Weird to rave about a toilet flapper, but this is the best flapper in the house. The water saving feature setting works perfectly without needing a second flush. When other flappers go bad, I will be replacing with Korky!

I have tried a lot of brands - Fluidmaster etc. and only the Korky brand works consistently and durably. Period. Excellent product. Others seemed to work but after a few days were leaking. Korky is worth every penny. This is not a paid endorsement.

You need to make two simple adjustments on this higher priced product. Unfortunately, I only made one and I constantly got “double flushes” until I found the second adjustment, then it worked perfectly. I needed to change the adjustment from a closed to an opened hole. The other adjustment was a “6” for my American Standard toilet. I recommend watching the Korky install video on You Tube. It’s not complicated, but the hole adjustment can be overlooked because it is the same color as the rest of the flapper. I purchased this higher priced one because it is guaranteed to last longer. When my old basic Korky model failed, my water bill increased by $80 for the month. The toilet was a guest unit that is rarely used.

This did a great job in stopping a slow leak on our toilet bowl. Like the fact that it has adjustments that can be made which helps the device in creating a seal. I would not buy any other very well designed and super easy to install. Perfect fit and worth every penny.

I recently replaced a worn out Fluidmaster rigid toilet flapper with this version and initially appreciated the easy installation of this Korky flapper. However, as far as flushing performance, this Korky soft rubber one is flabby and I needed to hold down the flusher much longer to get a complete flush. If I tried to quickly tap the flush lever, this flapper would slam down quickly and give me an incomplete flush. I ended up having to flush twice because of how flabby the arms of this flapper are. With the rigid flapper, I can tap the flush lever once and the rigid arms hold it up long enough for the water to empty inside the bowl. It may just be a matter of preference, but I'm not a fan of this soft rubber type flapper.

Fit as it should. Was easy to install. Still working fine months later. Thank you for producing a quality product.
