Bitters Tablets: Herbal Remedy for Fasting Support, Kidney Liver Cleanse Detox & Repair, Heartburn, & Digestion Supplements

I want to address the 2 primary complaints about the product which is the taste and its ability to help with cravingsTaste:I'm pretty confused with all the complaints about the taste. It's not amazing tasting but in comparison to the taste of these herbs on their own its much better. For those of you complaining, have you ever smelled or tasted Angelica root on its own? It's pretty unpleasant.This product is a significant improvement.Other people have complained also about its ability to control cravings- it has helped me with this. The common issue that this product solves is over eating due to lingering tastes in your mouth like after you eat something salty you want to counterbalance it with something sweet, but then you ate too much of that sweet thing and you you need something salty again. This product neutralizes your mouth to prevent this problem from happening, and the slight bitterness does seem to discourage me from eating more.As for the heath effects- I have noticed on many occasions that it has helped me digest food better and go to the bathroom easier. This is even with me using 1/2 a tablet to 1 tablet.

Yes it’s a bitter but I find the taste delicious. It seems to help me to stop eating after a meal, when I’m full, but some part of me keeps wanting more food.I trust the ancient wisdom of Hildegard of Bingen and feel good following that advice. The company that makes the product Healthy Hildegard, has been very responsive to my inquiries.

It’s hard to review this....to be honest, I had no idea what I was getting myself in to. The idea of curbing cravings and helping digestion, etc sounds great and I thought “meh a lil bitter tablet can’t be all that bad” so BOOM, I bought it. I was trying to fight off snacking in the middle of my work day and popped one of these suckers in my mouth....WORST TASTING THING I’VE EVER HAD. I don’t know how in the world people can eat these things. I had to spit it out and I’m pretty sure even my neighbors heard me gagging. Not for me.

This is a very tiny package of tiny tablets. I figured they would be more sizeable for what they cost, maybe like a cough drop. This is more like an aspirin.The taste is pretty strong, like others have said, but I would guess it has to do with people who eat overly sweet things or something like that. It’s not unpleasant, but it isn’t something I’m going to crave.I’m not convinced it’s worth the money or 4 stars yet, but it doesn’t feel like it should get less yet either.

Must have to do with an individual’s body chemistry. Absolutely did nothing for me. Didn’t taste good but expected that. Tested by eating ice cream after taking the tablet, no difference.

I really like this product. It helps with my emotional food cravings and provides a relief after a heavy meal for a better digestion. I'm sure that some with disagree with on the taste topi, but I embrace the bittersweet pallet that it creates.Also, when I was finally out and Amazon was showing unavailable, I've reached out directly to the company and they were great!

I intermittent fast. I started using these bitters two years ago as a way to break my fast with a non-glucose spiking nutrient. Much to my surprise they did much more than that for me. They are now my first choice for indigestion or a sour stomach. They just seemed to balance everything “tummy” out. Their customer service is amazing and highly responsive.

I have a rabid sweet tooth, so I figured I'd try these. I liked the taste immediately, which confused me because I thought they were supposed to taste bad if you're accustomed to sweet tastes. The taste is very mild, and they are chalky. I tried using them to curb cravings but they didn't really do anything besides distract me for a bit, which I can also accomplish with a mint. They were interesting to try, but too expensive to buy again.
